Plot summary
Tim Bergling, the Swedish DJ and record producer known as Avicii, is the subject of a portrait built from the archive he and his family kept and from behind-the-scenes footage gathered over more than four years. It follows the stages of a career that took his music to arenas around the world and traces his thinking through the years of touring. Parts of it were shot in Madagascar and Australia. The aim is to show Tim the person and not only the artist Avicii, and it records his decision in 2016 to step back from live performances.
