Plot summary
Nick Johnson has married several rich women, and each of those wives was killed after some time. Every one of those deaths was recorded as an accident. He has since married again, and his third wife is Francesca di Rienzi, a young Italian widow. She is not so easy to get rid of as the wives who came before her.
