Plot summary
Lou lives in a trailer outside a small Michigan town where women have been disappearing. After a night of partying in an abandoned warehouse, she wakes with symptoms that resemble pregnancy, but she insists she has not slept with anyone in about a year, and she had a miscarriage in a club six months earlier. Her friend Sadie is sure she is hiding a pregnancy. Luke drives her to the motel where she cleans rooms, and there she meets Lorna, an eccentric guest who takes an interest in her. Sadie's boyfriend Gabriel deals drugs and runs sex workers; he and his friend Warren have been selling a strange new drug to people around town, and a woman hidden in his apartment has had a grotesque reaction to it.
