Plot summary
In 1917, thirteen-year-old Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov escapes through a portal when Vladimir Lenin and his Bolsheviks threaten her family. She lands in a suburban American neighborhood decades later. She does not know that an enchantress named Yara is working with Lenin and has put Rasputin in a trance, sending him through another portal to catch her. Lonely thirteen-year-old Megan, who just moved, befriends Anastasia, who introduces herself as Annie.
