Plot summary
Four friends who have known one another since childhood are unhappy with the way their lives have gone. Griff, an actor who cannot find work in Culver City, tells the others that he has obtained the rights to Anaconda, a film they loved when they were young. They take out a loan and fly to Brazil, to the Amazon Rainforest, to make their own version of it. Doug, a wedding videographer, writes the script and directs, and Griff and Claire play the leads. A snake handler named Carlos Santiago and Ana Almeida, who claims to be the boat rental operator's daughter, join the production. Filming in the jungle brings them near a massive anaconda.
