Plot summary
Lilly takes the Omegas into the Shadow Forest for a field trip, since the woods are said to be haunted. At Saw Tooth Cave the group meets what looks like a wolf spirit. Runt spots a wolf concealed in the cave and, frightened as he is, goes up to her. The wolf, Daria, says that her mother hid her in the cave to keep her from their pack, because she is blind, and that the spirit protects her. Runt wants to lead Daria out of the cave and back to her own pack, and his parents Humphrey and Kate and Daria's porcupine friends help him.
