Plot summary
Aloysius Babson is a hobo and a movie fan. He walks into the camp of a company that is filming the Arabian Nights and settles down to sleep. In his dream he is in Baghdad, standing at the Sultan's side as an advisor under the name Ali Baba. The dream has him drawing up work programs, taxing the wealthy and disbanding the army.

While the film's "flying carpet" rig, a 1,500 lb platform hung by piano wires, was being tested on August 27, 1937, it collapsed, killing camera grip Harry Harsha the next day and crushing actor and prop man Philo Goodfriend, with two others injured.
