Plot summary
Both nineteen and both devoted to photography, Jenny Parker and Lola Perez have personalities that are nothing alike. They meet as finalists for the same internship and accidentally swap phones at the interview. Professor Helen Anderson then calls Jenny's number, needing a sitter at the last minute, and Lola accepts the job. Lola also answers a call from Zac Chase, who wants to invite Jenny to a concert; he concludes she is not interested. That evening Jenny looks after Emily and Katy Cooper while Lola supervises Trey, Bobby and AJ Anderson. Trey, who is fourteen, sneaks away to a concert, and the two babysitters and the younger children set off through the city to find him.
