Plot summary
Rosy was in foster care until 18 and now, at 25, works as a bank teller, keeping to a steady, simple and lonely routine and dressing like a much younger girl. At a restorative yoga class she walks out when the instructor moves her while she is wrapped up. Her coworker Helen, who is close to her mother, suggests she find an older adult willing to adopt her. A website matches younger adults who want a parent with older adults who want to adopt them. There Rosy meets Brian, who soon makes clear he is after a romance, and Jane, a high school teacher who is estranged from her daughter. Nola, with whom Rosy once shared a group home, calls the bank to move money to her new family.
