The youngest son of a wealthy businessman, Adithya Varma studies medicine in Mangalore, where his brilliance in class is matched by anger that offends the college dean. His juniors know him as a bully. When a brawl with his friend Tarun during an inter-college football match brings the dean's demand that he apologize or leave, Adithya chooses to stay after he meets Meera Shetty, an introverted first-year student, and takes it as love at first sight. He and his friend Parthi walk into a third-year classroom to announce that he loves her and that she is his alone. Afraid at first, Meera adjusts to his overbearing manner and comes to return his feelings.
