Plot summary

Gautham, married to Vandhana and father to Aarthi, sets out on a business trip to Bangalore. A traffic snarl elsewhere strands Aaranya, whose husband Prakash slaps her before she walks to the railway station alone. On the train, Gautham and Aaranya recognize each other: they were lovers once, separated when their families disapproved and Aaranya did not fight for the relationship. Both are now married, and both are traveling to the same city. They talk about their lives, and Aaranya says her marriage to Prakash is happy. As the journey goes on she grows close to Gautham again and confesses that Prakash abuses her; Gautham offers his support. Returning home, Gautham finds Vandhana absorbed in work, while Aaranya's home life grows harder.
