Plot summary
Delores Swensen is out looking at houses on behalf of Hannah's sister Michelle when she finds the body of the homeowner, a regular customer at The Cookie Jar. Hannah Swensen, Delores's daughter, decides to look into the death, and she is convinced that the suspect Detective Mike Kingston and Sheriff Ron Ealing are focusing on is not the culprit. The inquiry into the death becomes a family affair, with Delores, Michelle and Hannah's other sister, Andrea, who is in town on an unexpected visit, all taking part. Hannah gathers clues as she goes and rules out the suspects one at a time.
