A Very Corgi Christmas (2019) on Netflix

Plot summary

Widowed single mom Lauren Bradley wants only a break from her marketing job, but an open position at the company means she brings work with her when she and her son Jacob return to her small hometown for Christmas. A miscommunication leaves the two of them alone in her parents' house, apart from visits from her younger sister Lizzy, a police constable. Their neighbor is Ben Summers, a single father and Christmas enthusiast, with his daughter Charlie. Ben asks Lauren to look after the Corgi puppy he means to give Charlie on Christmas Eve. She agrees, though Jacob has been promised a dog of his own and the puppy has to stay hidden. Since her husband Paul died, Lauren has lost the holiday spirit.
