A Joyous Christmas (2017) on Netflix

Plot summary

Rachel Kennedy writes motivational books, and the event for her new one brings her back to her hometown at Christmas. Being home is difficult: her parents are gone and she has lost touch with her brother, David. Jack, the local producer of the event, and Joy, a selfless stranger, draw her into the town and its people, and through them Rachel reconnects with the community and reevaluates the message she gives her readers. She and Jack grow close, but she is torn between that bond and the career pressure from her manager, Stuart, and the event she came home to host is drawing nearer.
