Plot summary
Debi Walden grew up on the wrong side of the tracks and rode as a junior jumping champion. She earns her living on a ranch, cleaning stalls and doing chores. A chance to show her riding skill comes her way and restarts her career. Elysse Dumar makes fun of her for wanting to compete, saying she belongs in the stalls. Debi's father does not want her to jump horses. Jonathan Collier, Mr. Valentine and a few others believe in her, and she rides a horse that experts had judged to be nothing special.
