Plot summary
Regina asks her friend Zaya to watch her younger brother while she goes to Nigeria with her fiancé, Major Egan. Back home, Zaya and the villagers are recovering from a recent war. They try to rebuild their lives, but an American company moves in for a new crude oil strike. The company takes over the village. In Nigeria, Regina and Egan survive an attempt on their lives and learn the conspiracy is deeper than they knew. They set out for home, hoping to reach their friends and family before war overruns the village. The pair must navigate a complicated mission to survive.
