Plot summary
Noelle works in a department store, and as Christmas approaches she wants nothing to do with the holiday. Three years earlier her boyfriend ended their relationship on Christmas Eve, and her life has stood still since. A fireman moves into the apartment above hers. On Christmas Eve, Noelle is accidentally locked inside the department store all alone. A woman appears there and identifies herself as Noelle's guardian angel. She offers Noelle a chance to change her circumstances, introducing her to ghosts of Christmases past, present and future, and every pair of shoes Noelle tries on carries her to another Christmas.
