Plot summary
Olivia and Harry Davis lose their newborn baby at the birth. Six months later, the couple has come to terms with the loss and is rebuilding their lives, and the idea of trying again for a family has begun to seem possible. Olivia then meets Brooke Marsden, a glamorous woman with a baby girl of her own. Olivia is overwhelmed by love and longing, and her obsession with Brooke and her baby takes hold quickly. Harry is worried by his wife's fixation on the other mother and child.
