Plot summary
Rachel Whitaker was raised in an evangelical Christian home and is preparing to leave for her first year of college. At school, her biology professor, Marcus Kaman, is an atheist who teaches evolutionary theory, and those lessons conflict with her religious upbringing. Rachel starts to question parts of her faith. Her father, Stephen, notices the change in her beliefs and becomes concerned about it.
