Plot summary
Vivian moves in with her daughter Summer, who keeps an orderly household with her own young daughter Chloe. With Vivian comes an heirloom, a miniature Christmas village whose houses and streets copy the town around them, and a claim that it grants Christmas wishes. The village is said to draw the three of them closer, and Summer, whose days have been arranged around her daughter, may let love into her life again. Chloe begins placing the figurines one by one, and the everyday events of the town start to match the scenes she has laid out.
