Plot summary
Christmas is only weeks off when Taylor Scott's architecture firm enters her in a contest where teams design and build gingerbread houses at life size. A promotion in another city likely follows. The firm pairs her with Annabelle Renard, a renowned French pastry chef, and the two clash at once. After Annabelle backs out, Taylor steps into a bakery in town and meets Adam Dale, a baker and single dad. Desperate, she talks him into joining her for the contest, saying a win would give the bakery and his designs exposure. For years Taylor has avoided calling any place home, fearing it would only be temporary.
