Plot summary
Ben has his eye on someone, and he works up the nerve to write to her without signing his name. The message goes astray and lands with Charley Anderson, a single mother. She answers, and the two keep writing, each of them in the dark about who is on the other end. In his own life Ben has started seeing Chloe, who works with Charley. Chloe cannot match what the anonymous correspondence gives him, and Charley has no idea who her correspondent is.
