Plot summary
David Wilson is an engineer and a recent widower. His wife dies of cancer, leaving him to raise their son Patrick, called Po, who is autistic and in the sixth grade. David is now a single father, holding down a job while caring for his son, and the loss of his wife together with the pressure of work pushes him close to breaking point. Po is bullied, and in response he regresses, escaping into a fantasy world. The story is based on real events.
