A Bag of Hammers (2011) on Netflix

Plot summary

Close since high school, Ben and Alan have never settled down. They make their living posing as valets at funerals, driving off with the customers' cars and selling them to a pessimistic dealer. Mel, Alan's sister, pushes the pair to find respectable jobs, and they brush her off. Lynette moves into the neighborhood, a single mother with little money and a short temper. Her twelve-year-old son Kelsey is neglected and left mostly to himself. When he comes into Ben and Alan's orbit, the two respond in opposite ways: one wants nothing to do with raising a child, having grown up without an example to follow, while the other, seeing a boy nobody else wants, feels drawn to keep him. With Mel calling the plan crazy, they try to draw Kelsey into their car thefts.
