Plot summary
Chip works in a sewer and does whatever his girlfriend Liza tells him. Liza makes her living as a prostitute, and although she is abusive toward him, he is convinced he loves her. Ken McKenzie, her landlord and one of her steady clients, shows her a safe containing $68,000, and Liza talks Chip into stealing the money with her. Armed and masked, the two enter the McKenzie house, and Chip is uneasy about the plan. A young woman named Violet sees Chip at the house and runs. Liza catches her and says she intends to sell her to her brother Dwayne.
