Plot summary
Billie is a sixteen-year-old in suburban Australia. Her parent tells her he is a transgender man named James. James wants Billie to move in with her other parent, his ex-husband Tom, for a year. From then on she and James see each other only on Tuesdays, from four in the afternoon to ten at night. On those visits she spends time with James, and before going back to Tom she meets two older students, Josh and Jasmine, at an apartment her uncle Harry lets them use, where Billie films their encounters. Each of the year's Tuesdays becomes its own segment, and the film was shot in suburban Adelaide one Tuesday at a time.
