Plot summary
Jackie Taylor and her children are expecting a winter vacation. Martin Taylor, her husband, feels distant from them and devises an experiment instead. He cuts the house off from electricity and from the world outside, and nobody comes in or out for three days. Lu, Adam and Jessie are stuck indoors with their parents, with no technology, no heat and no running water. To get through it, the whole family has to work together and show their father they can endure his 3 Day Test.
