#Shockfight (2022) on Netflix

Plot summary

A twisted man stages his own version of a 1966 obedience study by psychiatrist Charles K. Hofling, in which hospital nurses followed an unseen doctor's order to give a dangerous dose. Ten strangers come to in separate decaying rooms, two to a room, each with a bar gag connected to a shock collar. A cheerful computerized voice tells them that when the buzzer sounds they have sixty seconds to kill the opponent, that failing means both are terminated, and that warning shocks will push them to keep fighting. Cameras in every corner feed five streams to the internet, and the fighters are given pseudonyms such as Cop, Nurse and Hipster. The buzzer rings and the first round starts.
