Plot summary
It is 1997. Frank Verstraeten sells computers; he has a sharp eye for business, a pull toward nightlife and a deep urge to prove himself. Above all he wants a disco that will not merely beat the competition but humiliate it. Zillion, a futuristic mega discotheque, becomes real, and Frank becomes a central figure of Antwerp nightlife. He is seen in public with Belgium's most beautiful women, and he joins forces with Dennis Black Magic, who supplies the spicy extras. Money, sex, drugs and techno flow freely around them, and the people in Frank's circle chase fame, thrills, respect and love.

- The Tiësto remix of Adagio for Strings used in the film and in its promotion did not exist in the Zillion's day: it was only released in 2005, years after the club closed. The version heard in the club back then was a remix of Barber's Adagio for Strings by William Orbit and Ferry Corsten.
- For the film, the exterior facade of the original Zillion discotheque was rebuilt and shot in Antwerp's Merksemsestraat, at house number 34.
- Location shooting in Belgium and the Netherlands was supposed to begin on 16 March 2021 but was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic; filming eventually started on 13 August 2021 and ended in the autumn of 2021.
