Plot summary
Parts of Luke's body begin turning into a woman's and back after his first sexual experience, which happens on a camping trip. Back home, he takes his car to a repair shop and meets the owner, Max, whose confident masculinity he envies, and Max's sister Michelle, a transfer student he has been crushing on. He invites her out, and the two connect, though a recent ex-boyfriend who cheated has left her cautious. Wanting to hide the transformations his attraction to her sets off, Luke abandons her during one date, which angers Max. His best friend Keenan brings in Dr. Sydney Catchadourian, who explains that an extra Z-chromosome causes zerophilia, a condition that turns Luke female whenever he is aroused.
