Plot summary
Scott Weidemeyer is a delivery driver who lives with his grandmother, Wanda, and gets along badly with the rest of his family. Every week he hosts a tabletop game, and he runs it with an iron fist. When a player quits the group for good, Scott looks for a replacement, but his temper has made him untouchable to everyone who knows him. Delivering food to the game shop where he once worked, he meets Miles, a charismatic hipster, and invites him to join. Miles's friendly manner wins over the other players, among them Wayne, Scott's best friend. Miles has an attractive girlfriend and runs a popular culture website, and Scott grows defensive around him.
