Plot summary
Joe is a traumatized hired gun in New York City who pulls trafficked girls away from their captors, using brutal methods. He looks after his elderly mother in the house he grew up in, and flashbacks of his violent father and of his years in the military and the FBI trouble him. His handler, John McCleary, passes him a job from the New York State Senator Albert Votto, whose daughter Nina has gone missing. Votto offers a large sum for a discreet rescue and texts him the location of a brothel that serves wealthy clients. Joe stakes out the brothel.
