Plot summary
An outbreak of the living dead is spreading through a city, and the people still there are strangers to each other. Each of them is trying to stay alive, and what one does begins to shape the lives of others in the dying city. The standoff at the local grocery store leaves the remaining survivors with a decision: they band together and leave, heading for the wilderness. They build a camp when they get there. Once camp is built, the dead are not the only threat they face, and the survivors start turning against each other in their struggle for power and control.
