Wrong (2012) on Netflix

Plot summary

Dolph Springer wakes early one morning in his suburban home and finds Paul, the dog he calls the love of his life, gone. Losing his job leaves him in denial: he keeps returning to his former workplace and pretending to work there while odd changes and events gather around him. Wanting his life as it was, he begins the search for Paul, which brings him across the path of a jogging-addicted neighbor who wants to feel complete, an opportunistic French-Mexican gardener, a pizza-delivering nymphomaniac and an off-kilter pet detective. The hunt takes its toll on Dolph's hold on his own mind.
