Plot summary
Sam, a painter, is left paraplegic when an accident fractures the bones in his legs. The injury also leaves him unable to have sex, and he grows distant from his girlfriend Lisa, believing that she and their lawyer Steven are involved with each other. Steven, who senses the distance between Sam and Lisa, gives Lisa a jewel that he came across hidden in an antique desk. The jewel is the cell of the Djinn, and Lisa awakens it without knowing what it holds. The Djinn kills Steven and takes his form, then begins pressing his attentions on Lisa so that she will make wishes.
