Plot summary
Dave Flannery travels to Southeast Asia for a holiday he did not want to take, joined by his pregnant wife Alice and by her younger sister Steph, who has brought her new boyfriend Jeremy along. The four of them go out partying in Cambodia one night, and by morning Jeremy has vanished without a trace. Dave, Alice and Steph fly home to Australia, where Dave and Alice return to their young family. Alice presses Dave for answers about the night Jeremy disappeared, and when Steph comes back soon after, the questions follow all three of them. Each of them knows something different about what happened on that night, and none of them says it aloud.
