Winter Storage (1949) on Netflix

Plot summary

Chip and Dale are unable to gather enough acorns to last the winter, since the acorns in the forest have all been picked. On October 7, Chip works at storing acorns in the tree for the cold months, while Dale would rather sleep in his matchbox; an angry kick from Chip sends him to work. Even together the two chipmunks can do only so much, and the acorns in their own tree are running low. Then Donald Duck, working as a park ranger, begins seeding a clearing in the oak forest. The chipmunks see his large sack of acorns and set out to steal the whole bag.
