Plot summary
A cat orchestra waits at the Hollywood Bowl, and Tom steps up to conduct the overture to Die Fledermaus. Jerry comes out of his mouse hole and dashes to the podium, set on taking the conducting for himself. Tom swipes at him with his baton, yet Jerry keeps the music going by leading from the baton itself. Tom tucks Jerry inside his suit, and Jerry wriggles back out through the sleeves. Freed again, Jerry makes Tom a proposal: a dance, the Du und du, and the pair dance it together. Then Jerry spins Tom into a cello, where the player strings him up.
