Plot summary
Sara, a photographer, lives in the countryside outside London with Theo, an aspiring photographer she has taken in and who calls her his aunt. At her studio she meets Tulia, a young model, and invites her to the house so that Theo might photograph her. Their session in the woods breaks off when Tulia notices a cloaked figure watching, which then disappears. That evening Tulia tells her hosts about Rhonda, a model friend who had also stayed at the house, who found the nearby lake ominous, and who disappeared after going back to London. Over drinks and a card game, Tulia and Sara undress, and Theo and Tulia kiss. Tulia spends the night troubled by dreams of Theo and Rhonda.
