Plot summary
Jane, a journalist, and Will, a photographer, meet at a wedding in the Hamptons, where Will turns up very late. They talk on the beach near the reception, and Jane suggests they have sex in a closet. Will says he would rather talk first, so Jane leaves and he chases after her, telling her not to drive drunk. He describes his most embarrassing sexual encounter and his first love, and at a diner Jane answers with her own first heartbreak, about Michael, a boy she knew at Catholic school who drew her into graffiti and petty theft. Both mention that their parents are split.
