Plot summary
The historical Chavale Lyceum is led by its founder and headmaster, Aristeidis Havales, and staffed by teachers whose authority is tested every day. The pupils are teenagers who fill the school with harmless but naughty pranks and with behavior the institution does not approve of. The friction between the two sides has turned every school day into a battle. The helpless instructors see no remedy other than to stay calm and, above all, to be patient until the academic year is over. They hope graduation will bring their troubles to an end. Among the teaching staff are a theology professor, a sexology professor and a gymnastics professor.
