Plot summary
At a luxurious hotel by the sea, the guests spend the summer in pursuit of love or, at the very least, a holiday romance, and misunderstandings and amusing incidents follow them along the way. Some pass themselves off as wealthy, others will do anything to come out on top, and several husbands cheat on their wives or stay so absorbed in work that they do not see their marriages slipping. Among the holidaymakers are a reporter with large ambitions, on the lookout for her next tabloid story, and a small television crew that has come to shoot a new serial built around a capricious screen diva.
