Plot summary
Jackie and Jules are marking their first anniversary at a remote cabin that belongs to Jackie's family. Jackie's childhood friend Sarah drops by and greets Jackie as Megan. Jackie says the change of name was her own choice, and she gives Jules a locket holding a photo of the two of them. Still uneasy, Jules crosses the lake to visit Sarah and her husband Daniel. There she hears about Jenny, a friend of Sarah and Jackie who drowned in that lake years ago. Jackie says she kept silent about Jenny because she felt responsible for what happened, even though investigators found she was not to blame. Jules holds her and comforts her.
