Plot summary
Marios Delipetrou leaves prison after seven years, a convicted embezzler. Danai Rodana, the widow of his friend Dimitris, meets him with the news that her husband is dead. Dimitris, she says, has made Marios the sole beneficiary of his immense fortune, and she puts a villa and a luxury car at his disposal to carry out the last wish of the deceased. Marios takes the villa, the car and the money that comes with them, though the Dimitris he knew had been a young man with everything ahead of him. The money Marios once handled went to save a friend from suicide, and the prison years followed.
