Plot summary
Francesca becomes an Arc after her death, a spiritual guide whose task is to help people fulfill their destinies before their lives end. She moves through the living world and meets strangers just when she needs them, and her work brings her to people whose time is nearly over. She also keeps up a secret search of her own, for a loved one she was never able to say goodbye to.
