Plot summary
Olivier and James, a same-sex couple, travel from England to a small village in Provence for a romantic break. At the very last minute they invite Caroline, a friend of James who has recently broken up with her boyfriend, to come along. The three settle into the calm of the pool, the sunshine and a visit to the village, in a place somewhat cut off from the world. Olivier finds himself drawn to Caroline, and the attraction between them puts a strain on his relationship with James and on her friendship with him. Jealousy and possessiveness grow among the three of them.
