Plot summary
Kristie Simmons works as an attorney, and she takes up the fight for approval of a bike lane that the neighborhood wants. Bill, the local vet, tells her that a dog called Gidget needs somewhere to live, and she takes the dog in. Out walking Gidget, she runs into Keith Amos, who has come from Seattle for work as a lawyer and is out with his own dog, Simon. Keith likes her at once, and she likes him back until she learns which side of the bike lane case he argues.
