Plot summary
Lena is 30 and works as an obstetrician-gynecologist, admired by her colleagues and thanked by grateful patients. Her marriage to Sergei, a theater actor, looks just as settled. He is attentive and gives her room, but she has noticed a change in him, and the two of them no longer sleep together. Then she reads a message on his phone from Katya, an actress at his theater, and decides he is being unfaithful. In retaliation, she sleeps with a man she hardly knows. That single act of revenge opens a hidden world of passion, and the affairs turn into a second life she leads alongside the marriage.
