Vehicle 19 (2013) on Netflix

Plot summary

Michael Woods, recently out of jail, breaches his parole by flying to Johannesburg to see his estranged wife Angie, who works at the U.S. embassy. The airport rental company hands him a car that is not the one he reserved. Stuck in traffic, he buys a phone charger from two street children who cheat him out of his sunglasses, then finds a cellphone holding a cryptic message and a pistol under the seat. A detective calls with instructions to swap the car for another. Angie sends directions by phone, doubting his story. Behind the back seat he finds a young woman, bound and gagged. She says she is Rachel Shabangu, a prosecutor who gathered evidence of corruption and is due to testify, and that officers had kidnapped her.
