Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- The climactic scene of Unfinished Business required a Fairchild C-123 Provider to be flown in from the United States because Canada had a shortage of pilots for similar aircraft, and a two-day blizzard delayed the shoot.
- Unfinished Business and its predecessor Brothers in Arms were shot concurrently in Southern Ontario over 42 days in late 1997, alternating between scenes from each film, and the two pictures together cost $10.7 million.
- Some German home video versions were sold as Neu Bearbeitete Fassung (Newly Edited Version), a label that only meant the releases were cut for violence.
